RAILWAY MUSEUM
The Railway Museum of Athens was founded in 1979 and belongs to the Greek Railways Organization. Its aim is to preserve samples of the technological development of the means of transportation in Greece. Among the Museum's exhibits are included:

  • steam locomotives of mine-trains
  • wagons of old trains, royal riages and the smoking car of the train of the sultan Abdul Aziz

  • models and photographic material
  • instruments, printing implements, tickets, uniforms and mechanics' tools of the 19th century.
